Founded on hard work, craftsmanship, and lasting relationships, Premier Custom Homes has been serving homeowners throughout the Portland metro area since 1993.

Owner and Oregonian Andy Stevens began his career in construction while living in Salt Lake City, where he operated a construction company. When the opportunity arose to work alongside his father, who was building homes in Oregon, Andy returned to the Pacific Northwest to pursue his passion for residential construction. At the same time, inspired by his mother’s successful career in real estate, he enrolled at Clackamas Community College to earn his real estate license. What started as a simple request to paint cabinets for one of his mother’s real estate clients quickly evolved into a thriving business. Referrals spread rapidly, and Andy soon partnered with local real estate professionals, completing home inspection repairs, painting projects, remodels, and improvements for both sellers and new homeowners. As his reputation for quality work grew, so did the size and scope of his projects.

In 1999, Andy expanded into custom home building, purchasing lots in West Salem and constructing 15 custom homes. He returned to Oregon City in 2004 and continued growing the company to meet the evolving needs of his clients. Today, Premier Custom Homes proudly serves more than 300 customers, offering remodeling, renovation, and custom home building services throughout the Portland metropolitan area.

One of the company’s greatest accomplishments is the long-term relationships it has built over the years. Many clients have trusted Andy and his team with their homes for more than three decades, returning for multiple projects and referring friends and family.

Premier Custom Homes is also a family business with a bright future. Andy’s son, Zach, has been involved with the company since he was 14 years old and has served as a manager for the past four years. He is gaining extensive experience in remodeling, project management, and coordinating subcontractors and employees as he prepares to take on a leadership role. In 2028, Zach will become co-owner and assume management of the company, continuing the family tradition of quality craftsmanship and exceptional service.

Today, the Premier Custom Homes team includes dedicated office support, a sales and estimating professional, four skilled laborers, and experienced leadership—all committed to helping homeowners bring their vision to life with integrity, expertise, and personalized service.
